What is this platform?

The Options Trading Journal is a comprehensive platform for tracking your options trades, calculating tax lots using FIFO methodology, and monitoring your portfolio performance in real-time.

1. Add Your First Trade

Navigate to the Dashboard and click "New Trade" to enter your first options trade. Fill in the symbol, option type, strike price, expiry date, and other details.

2. View Tax Lots

The system automatically creates tax lots for your positions. Open positions are matched with closing positions using FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology.

3. Monitor Performance

Check your unrealized P&L on open positions and realized P&L on closed positions. The ticker feed shows real-time updates for your portfolio.
